This Private Reserve was aged for six months in both American and French oak, and the results are impressive. From the first sip, it enchants with grilled black plum, black pepper, and a hint of tobacco, then reveals layers of wild blackberry and earthy herbal notes on a palate defined by smooth, velvety tannins. It’s complex, structured, and drinks well above its price point.
